Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)

Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)
More and more organizations want to ensure that their products have a positive impact on the world. With ASC certification, companies can contribute to sustainable aquaculture worldwide. Schouten Advies can assist you with this.

What is the Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)?
The Aquaculture Stewardship Council is committed to ensuring that aquaculture is carried out in a sustainable and socially responsible manner. They achieve this through the certification of fish farms, but various steps in the supply chain, such as traders and production companies in the food and feed industry, can also be certified. With ASC certification, these businesses can demonstrate that the raw materials they process in their products contribute to ASC’s goals.

ASC covers sustainably farmed fish species and other seafood. We assist companies further down the supply chain, also known as Chain of Custody Certificate holders, with ASC certification. This may include traders of these products, as well as producers of food and feed who process them.
