Course Code 95: Physical Strain
Sitting behind the wheel for long periods can have negative consequences for the health of drivers. For example, an incorrect sitting posture can lead to complaints about the neck, back, or shoulders. In addition, working with heavy goods can impact the body. Think of lifting heavy equipment or pulling pallet trucks. During the ‘Code 95: Physical Strain’ course, drivers learn to perform their work correctly and without physical complaints.
Once drivers have physical complaints, they unfortunately find it difficult to get rid of them. Therefore, the ‘Code 95: Physical Strain’ course is aimed at preventing complaints among drivers. By practicing sitting and steering positions and lifting techniques, the driver learns to recognize risks in their own work situation in a practical way.
Target Group
This training is specifically developed for drivers with a Dutch driving license. Code 95, also known as “Professional Competence Code 95,” was introduced to improve road safety and enhance the skills and knowledge of professional drivers. Code 95 is mandatory for truck drivers driving trucks over 3.5 tons. It is also mandatory for drivers who transport passengers, such as bus drivers.
