GMO-controlled for purchasing agents and QHSE managers
Demand from retailers for GMO-controlled products is increasing. Because of this, livestock farmers increasingly ask their feed suppliers for guarantees that their feed is free of GMO’s. The German Verband Lebensmittel ohne Gentechnik (VLOG) has created a standard for the food and feed sector. GMP+ International has decided to work with VLOG to meet the demand of GMO-free products. To achieve this, GMP+ International has developed the ’GMP MI105 GMO-controlled’ standard. During this workshop, we will dive into VLOG and GMP+ MI105 and their consequences.
The following topics will be discussed:
- risk assessment of raw materials;
- purchasing requirements;
- intake inspection;
- management of the production process;
- communication with the customer;
- monitoring and interpretation results;
- how to act in case of nonconformities.
Target audience
This workshop has been specifically developed for those responsible for the purchasing process and quality assurance. To get the most out of this course, some basic knowledge of GMP+ and feed legislation is required. If you lack this knowledge, you could attend our training on the basics of feed legislation. After the workshop, participants will receive a certificate as proof of their participation.
Level: MBO+ / HBO
